First Set of Mini-Mes 

Our class collaboration team presented as mini-mes :D

Hi. :) My name is Francis (aka Moj)

I've always loved toys since I was a child and I never outgrew that passion. I've collected 1 inch miniatures and I have some experience with painting mini-figures. I also dabble in clay sculpture. Despite having these skills, I didn't know what to do with them. 

 I'm currently studying Design at Weltec in Wellington, New Zealand. At a class on collaboration, were told to go and re-make a game based off a movie. We decided on re-making The Frighteners by Peter Jackson. Naturally, I took the role of creating the miniatures for the game. For the design, I drew inspiration from the cartoon show Adventure Time.

I designed and created these miniatures from polymer clay and painted them with acrylic paint for our project. A lot of my classmates loved them, so much so I created mini-mes of us as a group and gave it away as parting gifts. 

Each miniature is about 1.5 inches small and will be done in the style of adventure time. I laser cut bases for the miniatures out of clear acrylic so they will stand up perfectly. After the miniature has been painted, I apply a coat of clear varnish so the paint will not scrape off easily.
